Library for Distance Learners
Students choosing distance learning may check out books from the Fair Elementary School Library using the following guidelines:
Click on "FES Library Catalog" button
Students should use the catalog to determine if the title is a good choice. Students may not pull books from the shelf but are allowed to check the inside to see if the structure and vocabulary are acceptable before checking out the book.
Students may not have over two library books out at one time.
The library provides 40 electronic books for students at this time. The library website provides information on how to find these books. The number of electronic books for students is not limited.
Students may exchange library books and take Accelerator Reading quizzes after school hours by appointment only on Mondays and Thursdays. Parents may call 662-779-0388 from 2:00-2:40 to schedule an appointment. Availability will be determined by the number of requests. Only one person per student will be allowed to enter the Library. All visitors must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Other help for distance learners can be found on the Library’s website.
